SEOUL, Mar. 29 (Yonhap) -- S. Korea’s top music streaming site Melon launched a service called “Melon Spotlight” that shines a light on K-pop singers’ new releases, on Tuesday.
Group NCT DREAM, which released the second full album “Glitch Mode” on Monday, has been chosen as the first runner of “Melon Spotlight.”
In the Melon application, “Melon Spotlight” will be exposed in the second area of the main screen. Melon users will directly spot new releases of artists and enjoy diverse services such as the audio content “Melon Station” and the "Melon Magazine,” which is written by a professional writer.
This event will be exposed on social media channels, Kakao View, and on the LED screen in K-pop Square, Samsung Station.
In commemoration of the launch of the service, Melon will also hold an event to give an album and a set of autograph postcards to the users who press like in the “Glitch Mode” album, listen to all the songs in the album, and leave reviews in the title song.
