SEOUL, December 14 (Yonhap) -- Yeosu World Expo, Yeosu Marine Cable Car, and Suncheon Bay, representing Yeosu and Suncheon, were selected as Korea's representative tourist destinations.

These tourist attractions were selected as the "100 Best Korean Tourism in 2023-2024" selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization, according to Yeosu and Suncheon City on Wednesday,

The "100 Best Korean Tourism" is a project to select and promote 100 representative tourist attractions in Korea every once in two years that Koreans as well as foreigners must visit.

Tourist attractions selected for the top 100 are also included in the "Korea Travel and Tourism Information Homepage" and the "Korea Tourism Top 100 Map" distributed at tourist information centers all over Korea.
