SEOUL, Oct. 13 (Yonhap) -- SBS announced Monday that the hit series “Taxi Driver” will return with its third season on Nov. 21.
Based on a popular webtoon of the same name, “Taxi Driver” follows Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon), a taxi driver working for the secretive Rainbow Taxi Company, who delivers revenge on behalf of wronged victims.
Season 1, which aired in 2021, recorded a peak viewership rating of 16 percent, while Season 2 in 2023 achieved 21 percent, building a loyal fanbase both in Korea and overseas.
The drama also won Best Drama Series at the 28th Asian Television Awards last year.
Returning cast members include Lee Je-hoon, Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin, and Bae Yoo-ram. The new season is written by Oh Sang-ho, who penned the previous installments, and directed by Kang Bo-seung, co-director of “Dr. Romantic 3.”
