SEOUL,
Nov. 12 (Yonhap) --
Broadcaster JTBC announced on Wednesday that its new Friday series “Love Me,” starring Seo Hyun-jin, will premiere on Dec. 19.
“Love Me” tells the story of obstetrician-gynecologist Seo Jun-kyung (played by Seo Hyun-jin), who has lived a fiercely driven life but gradually opens her heart to her next-door neighbor, Ju Do-hyun (played by Jang Ryul).
The drama portrays, in a calm and delicate tone, how two lonely people heal each other and mend their relationships with family.
The series is based on the Swedish drama of the same name, which was also remade in Australia.
It is directed by Cho Young-min, known for the dramas “Do You Like Brahms?”, “The Interest of Love,” and the Netflix series “Eun-jung and Sang-yeon.”
