SEOUL, May 27  (Yonhap) -- Girl group aespa is the only K-pop artist to be named in the “30 Under 30 Asia list for 2022” by the American magazine Forbes, according to the SM Entertainment, on Friday. 
Forbes annually announces leaders under 30 from 22 countries and territories represented across the Asia-Pacific region, for each of the 10 categories, including the Arts, Marketing & Advertising, Enterprise Technology, Finance & Venture Capital, Healthcare & Science, and more.
Forbes introduced aespa by saying, “one of the hottest girl groups in K-pop,” adding, “‘Next Level,’  released in May 2021, has more than 215 million views on YouTube.” 
Earlier, aespa has been chosen as one of the “Next Generation Leaders” by the American news magazine TIME.
