Ahead of Gwangju Uprising anniversary
A bereaved family member of a victim of the 1980 Gwangju Uprising pays respect at the May 18 National Cemetery in Gwangju, 267 kilometers south of Seoul, on May 17, 2024, one day prior to the 44th anniversary of the pro-democracy movement.
