SEOUL, Aug. 24 (Yonhap) -- Key from boy band SHINee is to be back with a solo album in 2 years and a half.
The artist will pre-release one of the side tracks “Hate that” on the 30th and will drop the new album in September, according to his management agency, SM Entertainment, Tuesday.
Specific details such as the album’s track list and official release date are to be announced later.
This is Key’s first solo album since the repackage album “I Wanna Be” released in March 2019.
After 10 years as a SHINee member, in 2018 he debuted as a solo artist as well with the single “Forever Yours.” In the same year, he released his first regular album “FACE.”
He secured his position as a solo artist holding exclusive concerts and releasing albums in Japan too.
After 2 years of military service, he returned to SHINee and performed as a group. Also, he is taking part in tvN variety “Amazing Saturday’ as host.
