Singer-songwriter Lee Mujin expands into producing

SEOUL, Oct. 24 (Yonhap) -- Singer-songwriter Lee Mujin is broadening his career by producing songs for other artists, agency Big Planet Made Entertainment said Friday.

“Time Capsule,” a song by female duo Davichi that Lee helped produce, has climbed to No. 3 on Melon’s Top 100 chart and received a strong response from listeners.

The medium-tempo ballad blends Lee’s production style with Davichi’s sentimental vocals, featuring heartfelt lyrics that recall childhood memories and the passage of time.

Lee also took part in producing “Zzurr” (working title), the title track of Lee Chang-sub’s second mini album, and Big Naughty’s digital single “Bye Bye.”

“Lee Mujin continues to showcase his versatility as a producer, singer-songwriter, and TV personality, revealing a wide spectrum of musical colors and charm,” the agency said.
